The ideal candidate will possess experience in HR or employee recruitment, along with a comprehensive understanding of HR policies and procedures. The primary focus of this role will involve overseeing employee orientations, benefits administration, compensation, rewards, conflict resolution, and providing ample opportunities for system development and refinement. Objectives of this role:

  • Supervise and improve employee standards and procedures, utilizing both existing HR systems and recommending enhanced processes.
  • Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, encompassing compensation, health insurance, expense reimbursement, and vacation policies.
  • Assist in recruitment efforts and ensure employees are well-prepared for their assignments by establishing and conducting comprehensive orientation and training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with national and local HR regulations through investigations and meticulous record-keeping.
  • Identify and propose improvements to internal standard operating procedures, including team restructuring and initiatives to boost morale.

Responsibilities:

  • Support departments in developing and implementing strategic HR plans aligned with the overall business direction.
  • Schedule management conferences, resolve employee grievances, provide training to managers on coaching and discipline, and offer counseling to employees and supervisors, thus ensuring effective HR activities.
  • Champion the onboarding process by ensuring its quality and relevance, providing clarity and fostering alignment between employees' roles and the overall business vision.
  • Maintain up-to-date management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resources policies and procedures.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with external suppliers, fostering trust and promoting collaboration.
  • Handle confidential matters with utmost discretion.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Possession of three or more years of experience in human resources or employee recruitment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with an ethical mindset.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Strong familiarity with HR software.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in human resources or a related field.
  • Experience working with PeopleSoft software.
  • Solid understanding of national laws pertaining to HR.

Language Proficiency:

  • Proficient in English, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu preferred.
